Azgaar's Fantasy Map Generator is a map generator that implements the use of map scale—the ratio of distance on the map. Using the scale, you can determine distance and area with their built-in measurers. You can also view your map in 3D or as a globe. I particularly enjoy the configurations of cultures, religions, diplomacy, biomes, cultures, and more! It will curate names and emblems for states and/or keys for each too!
Azgaar’s Fantasy Map Generator
Inkarnate is a wonderful map-making platform that allows you to create unique world/region, city/village, battle, and scene/isometric maps. While the Pro version unlocks more styles and enhances features of the free version, the free version offers an array of options. I enjoy being able implement detailed additions like houses and trees. You can also upload custom art and use it in Inkarnate.
